Where can I return my old appliance?

When an old electrical device reaches the end of its life cycle, you should not leave it to collect dust in a corner. The waste electrical and electronic equipment does not belong to the mixed waste, but they must be delivered to an official WEEE collection point from where they are forwarded to recycling.

An old electrical or electronic appliance must always be returned to collection as whole device, not disassembled, as follows:

  • without product packages, manuals or other medium (such as manuals on DVD or CD)
  • vacuum cleaners, without dust bags
  • microwave ovens or coffee makers, without glass pans, glass plates or glass domes
  • printers, without ink tanks or toner cassettes
  • refrigeration appliances, without food.

Return to WEEE collection point

The consumer may return the waste electrical and electronic equipment to the national WEEE collection point network. The return can be done free of charge. The closest collection point can be found at www.kierratys.info.
